2022 Western Storm Shirt Unveiled

Today we can exclusively reveal the Western Storm playing shirt for 2022.

The stunning shirt once again features the team’s traditional colours of green and black, but the design is very special this year because the playing squad have played an active role in the visuals of the kit alongside the creative design team at Bendac.

The players wanted a shirt design that represents the whole Western Storm region, which they are proud to represent when they step out onto the field.

Captain, Sophie Luff explains: “We’ve been working really closely with Bendac, our front of shirt sponsor, to come up with the shirt. We’ve had a lot of input into the design and we’re all very happy with the outcome.

“As females, there were certain elements of the shirt that we wanted to focus on, particularly where the sponsor logo fits on the front of the shirt. That was really important to us. We wanted to maintain the traditional green and black of Western Storm, and this year we’ve included the map of the region on the back of the shirt, which is something special to us all.

“The collar on the back of the shirt also has the seven colours of the six counties and Wales that are involved with cricket in the region.

“The finished shirt looks really smart, and it was exciting to do a little promo video with Bendac. It was certainly a little bit different to hitting balls in the indoor school!”

The shirt also features the branding of Official Team Partners Bendac, WPA and Shrey.
