Hours: Full time, minimum 40 hours per week

Salary: £35,000 – £43,000

Location: The Seat Unique Ground, Bristol (Regional travel will be required at times)

Western Storm compete in the Charlotte Edwards Cup (T20) and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy (50 overs). Operating below the senior programme is the Western Storm Academy and the newly launched Western Storm Emerging Players Programme – two essential programmes that develop the next generation of female cricketing talent. The Role

Are you an experienced UKSCA accredited (or equivalent) Strength and Conditioning coach with demonstrable experience in elite sport? Do you thrive working in a multidisciplinary team? Are you passionate about the physical development and preparation of elite female athletes? Do you prioritise the safeguarding of children, young people and adults at risk in all you do? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to fulfil the role of Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach. This exciting role will work closely with Medical Services Lead and the Western Storm Strength and Conditioning Coach to lead the physical development of the Western Storm squad to maximise performance on the field.

In this role you will need to lead the performance programming for the Senior Squad, complete regular player profiling to inform programme design, monitor player workloads and work collaboratively with the medical team to provide high quality injury prevention and rehabilitation programmes. You will also line manage the strength and conditioning coach and maintain strategic oversight of the Academy strength and conditioning provision, ensuring the entire Western Storm pathway is aligned. At times, delivery may also be required on the Western Storm Academy programme. Safeguarding responsibilities are fundamental in this role and you will be required to demonstrate your ongoing commitment through acting within our code of conduct and participating in regular training.
