VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Ahead of the match, Head Coach, Trevor Griffin said: “We were disappointed with how we performed with the ball last week against Diamonds. We didn’t execute our plans or skills in the way that we wanted, but we’ve spoken about it this week and we’re all looking forward to getting back out there and finishing our season in style by showcasing the way that we want to play.
“One of the benefits of these competitions is that our players are playing on better pitches in fantastic grounds like Emirates Old Trafford. That’s only going to bode well in terms of their development.
“A number of our players are unavailable due to work commitments, so a couple of our Academy players could be in line to make their debut for the First XI. That gives us a great opportunity to see what the future of Western Storm looks like.”
