Issy Wong joins Western Storm on loan

Issy Wong has joined Western Storm on loan from Central Sparks for the duration of the 2024 Charlotte Edwards Cup.

The ECB have sanctioned the move to ensure fast bowler Wong is able to maximise her playing time over the coming weeks.

The 22-year-old has represented her country on 14 occasions across the formats and has featured in 100 career T20 matches, taking 80 wickets at an average of 24.35 with a best of four for 15.

During her career to date, she has played T20 cricket all over the world for Mumbai Indians, Sydney Thunder, Southern Vipers, Central Sparks. She also plays for Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred.
