Women & girls’ cricket is set to be transformed as part of the England and Wales Cricket Board’s exciting new strategy to Inspire Generations. As Western Storm evolves from being a highly successful team in the Kia Super League, to a new semi-professional year-round programme, we are looking for suitably qualified candidates to apply for two exciting full-time roles. Linking in with Welsh Fire, Western Storm are looking to recruit two highly-motivated and skilled practitioners that will relish the challenge of being at the forefront of this important new chapter of the women’s game.
Western Storm Physiotherapist
The Western Storm physiotherapist will play a pivotal role in supporting the most talented female cricketers within the Region. The successful candidate will manage and develop the physiotherapy service provision, delivery and facilities for the Western Storm & the Western Storm Academy programmes as well as performing the role of physiotherapist for the Welsh Fire Women’s team in The Hundred competition.

Western Storm Strength & Conditioning Coach
The Western Storm Strength & Conditioning Coach will play an important role in supporting the most talented female cricketers within the South West & Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning and implementation of strength and conditioning services across both the Western Storm Senior and Academy squad, as well as fulfilling the role of S&C coach for the Welsh Fire Women’s team in The Hundred competition.
