Players continue to take the Big Bash by "Storm"

Western Storm’s Big Bash contingent are continuing to impress in the tournament.

Captain Heather Knight followed up last weeks heroics with another fine performance with the bat. She made 51 not out off 35 balls for Hobart Hurricanes against Sydney Sixers but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to prevent her side slipping to a seven wicket defeat (D/L method).

Rachel Priest smashed her way to 58 not out from 46 balls for Sydney Thunder against Adelaide Strikers, whilst her teammate Stafanie Taylor took three for 36 as they claimed a six wicket win.

In the second match between the two sides it was Taylor who impressed with the bat. Her 55 from 42 helped the Thunder to 146 for five. She then followed that up with two for 33 as her side claimed a five-wicket victory off the very last ball.
