Thatchers announce exciting partnership with Western Storm in 2024

We are delighted to announce that Thatchers Cider are set to be become Western Storm’s Official Cider Partner for 2024.

Thatchers will have their logo across the back of the Western Storm playing shirt.

The Thatcher family have been making cider at Myrtle Farm in Somerset for 120 years. As a British, family run business, they produce much-loved ciders such as the smooth Thatchers Gold; the UK’s best-selling cloudy apple cider, Thatchers Haze; Thatchers Blood Orange, a vibrant sparkling cider bursting with natural blood orange flavour, and their latest fruity addition to the family Thatchers Apple and Blackcurrant.

Whichever you choose, you can be sure they have all been made with the same care, attention and hands-on experience by the expert cider makers at Thatchers home on Myrtle Farm.

Regional Director of Women’s Cricket, Lisa Pagett, is delighted to have secured another major partner. “It is brilliant to welcome Thatchers to the Western Storm family this summer. Their South-West heritage and values resonate perfectly with those here at Western Storm and I’m really looking forward to working together. They have developed several fantastic partnerships in cricket already so adding Western Storm into their portfolio shows their commitment to the Women’s game.

Philip McTeer, Head of Marketing at Thatchers Cider said: “We’re proud to sponsor Western Storm, whose passion and prowess for cricket matches our own determination to produce the perfect pint.

“Western Storm are fantastic ambassadors for their sport, and this partnership reflects our shared pursuit for excellence on and off the pitch.

“We’re thrilled to be building on our long-standing relationship with cricket in the southwest and look forward to cheering them on with a pint of Thatchers Gold in hand.
