The Hundred: Who's Playing Where?
With the 2023 Hundred now underway, we thought we would remind you which teams the Western Storm players will be representing this summer.
Sophie Luff
Storm Captain, Sophie Luff returns to London Spirit. It’s been another productive season for Sophie, who finished this season’s Charlotte Edwards Cup with 150 runs at an average of 50.
Heather Knight
The England Captain will once again captain London Spirit. It’s been another good summer for Heather as she led England to ODI and IT20 series wins over Australia in the Ashes.
Dani Gibson
It’s been quite an impressive few months for Dani, who will be an important element of the London Spirit squad. She made her International debut in the Ashes series and has been in outstanding form for Storm this summer. She finished this year’s Charlotte Edwards Cup with 166 runs and was Storm’s leading wicket taker in the competition with eight.
Lauren Filer
Much like Dani Gibson, Lauren Filer has had a tremendous year, culminating in making her England debut. She will be a part of the large Storm contingent at London Spirit and will be hoping that her express pace can take Spirit further in the competition this year.
Sophia Smale
Sophia will once again be playing for Oval Invincibles. Sophia played a big part in the Invincibles winning the competition in 2022 and claimed the prize wicket of Smriti Mandhana in the final.
Fran Wilson
Fran has moved from Welsh Fire to Trent Rockets for this season’s competition. The Rockets will be hoping that she can bring her Charlotte Edwards Cup form with her after she finished the competition as Storm’s leading run scorer with 186.
Niamh Holland
Niamh will represent London Spirit in this year’s Hundred. The England Under 19 all rounder will be looking to make her mark and continue her rise to prominence.
Alex Griffiths
Alex will be one of three Storm players at Welsh Fire for The Hundred. Alex has impressed in this season’s Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Trophy, amassing 183 runs and claiming nine wickets.
Chloe Skelton
Chloe was a late addition to the Welsh Fire squad following an injury to Georgia Davis. It’s been an outstanding summer for Chloe so far and she is currently Storm’s leading wicket taker in the Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Trophy with 13 wickets at an average of 22.
Claire Nicholas
Claire returns to Welsh Fire for 2023. The spinner was top of the Fire bowling averages last season claiming six wickets at an average of 16.5.
Nat Wraith
Nat has swapped London Spirit for Trent Rockets in 2023. The Storm ‘keeper will be hoping that she can help her side go one step further and make it to the final after the Rockets were knocked out in the eliminator last year.
