It’s time for you to vote for your Western Storm Player of the Year!

It was another successful season for Western Storm as we reached Kia Super League Finals Day for the third consecutive year.

The nominees for Western Storm Supporters Player of the Year are:

Smriti Mandhana

Smriti scored more runs than any other player in this season’s Kia Super League and topped the Western Storm batting averages. The 22-year-old made an instant impact, scoring over 400 runs in her 10 appearances in the competition.

Heather Knight

The England Captain was in fine form with the bat again 2018 and averaged over 40 in this seasons Kia Super League. She scored three 50s in this year’s tournament including 97 against Yorkshire Diamonds.

Freya Davies

Freya was Western Storms leading wicket taker in this season’s Kia Super League. Her eight wickets at an average 35.37 were an integral part of her side’s progress to a third consecutive Finals Day.

The winning players will receive their awards at Somerset CCC’s Players’ Dinner on Saturday September 29th.

Tickets are still available for the Players’ Dinner which will take place in the County Room and includes a sumptuous three course dinner.

Throughout the course of the evening there will also be the annual trophy presentations as well as exclusive interviews with members of the 2018 squad.

Tickets for this not-to-be-missed event cost just £30 for Premium Members, £35 for Ground Members and £40 for Non-Members.
