WPA join the Western Storm family

Western Storm are delighted to announce that we will be working closely with health insurer, WPA on a number of initiatives in 2022.

WPA who have been based in the South West for 120 years, are already well known within the domestic game for their Principal Partnership with Somerset CCC.

The partnership will see WPA branding appear on the Western Storm match shirt and sponsorship of the live stream coverage of Western Storm’s 2022 fixtures at the Cooper Associates County Ground. The two organisations will also be collaborating on a wellbeing content series throughout the year.

Regarding the agreement, Regional Director of Women’s Cricket, Lisa Pagett said: “We are really excited about this partnership with WPA. Their desire to support Western Storm, and indeed women’s cricket as a whole, at what is a really exciting time for the game is great to see.

“Their backing of the live stream will help us to bring the game to a much wider audience, and the wellbeing series will be a powerful and enlightening tool which will genuinely be of benefit to women from all walks of life.”
