WPA continuing to support the growth of the women’s game
Western Storm are delighted to be working with WPA Health Insurance again in 2024.
The mutually beneficial partnership began in 2022 and has gone from strength-to-strength year on year.
2024 will once again see WPA branding featuring prominently on the team’s matchday shirt, and their continued backing of the dedicated live stream of Storm fixtures at the Cooper Associates County Ground will continue to drive awareness of the quality of the women’s game.
In addition to this, the two organisations will continue to collaborate on valuable and important wellbeing content which will benefit players and supporters alike.
WPA, who have been based in the South West for 120 years, are already well known within the domestic game for their Principal Partnership with Somerset CCC.
Regional Director of Women’s Cricket, Lisa Pagett is delighted that the partnership is continuing.
“The team at WPA have been tremendous to work with since day one,” she said. “The continuation of our relationship is great news for all concerned. For the last few years WPA have really supported Storm to help promote the growth of women’s sport across the region and we feel privileged to have such great partners championing Western Storm”
“Everyone in the Storm family is looking forward to teaming up with WPA again in 2024.”
Mark Southern, Sales & Marketing Director at WPA added: “It’s been great to see the growth in popularity of the women’s game over the last few years, with the success of the Western Storm team leading to many players being called up to the national side. It’s a project we have been delighted to be involved with and can’t wait to see what the team achieve this season.”
